Mayor Pro-Tem Youtsey recently issued a proclamation declaring February 11th as 2-1-1
Day in Artesia. The proclamation recognizes the support and aid that United Way of Eddy County offers to citizens throughtheir 2-1-1 program.

Citizens can dial
2-1-1 on their phone and get connected to United Way of Eddy County. They offersupport including resources for utility assistance, food pantries/distribution,
veteran services, mental health support, shelters, clothing, prescription medications,and more. 

This proclamation
seeks to bring awareness to the assistance that's available for citizens inneed. We're grateful to United Way of Eddy County for their presence in our
community and the work they do.
