Phase 1 of the 26th Street project has been completed, and 26th Street is now open from Main to Grand.
Phase 2 of the project has begun. The second phase of the project will work on 26th Street from Grand to Washington. The affected portion of road will be closed in both directions for the duration of the phase.
This new phase of work is scheduled to last approximately three months. During this time, crews will be replacing water lines under the road, adding curb and gutter to help with drainage when it rains, adding new sidewalks, and redoing the surface of the road. The timeline for this work is subject to change based on weather conditions and other factors.
